EAST WEST日本語學院在東京算規模較小的日本語學校，但對於學生和當地交流的活動投注不少心力，交流活動之外，還可以在這裡學到日本人在實際生活中使用的「活用日語」。
EAST WEST日本語學院每週舉辦一次日文交流會，還會和週邊學校協同舉辦活動、在祭典活動中扛神轎等，將日文學習和當地活動緊密結合，可以學習到學校裡學不到的日文。
